Course Overview

RoboSim recorded course is virtual simulation robotics for ages 8–15 on the RoboSim platform—design, program, and complete mission challenges in a virtual environment. Set in "Industry 4.0 Smart Factory," it integrates modern agriculture, clean energy, mineral processing, and advanced manufacturing for realistic industrial scenarios. Five progressive lessons move from platform basics to line following, keyboard control, and mission strategy to complete scene objectives.

5 lessons
Self-Directed Learning
Independently learn photoelectric sensors, motor vs. servo differences, touch sensor mechanisms; practice line following and remote control on different maps after class.
Independent Decision-Making
Random routes and task positions require analyzing maps, designing line steps and turn order; comprehensive drills need priority and time allocation strategies.
Self-Management
Manage pace in 180-second simulations; save robot and program files; record scores in practice and reflect to optimize.
Engineering Thinking
Build triple-photo line followers; understand port roles (M1/M2 drive, M3 U-arm, M4 bucket, P5 servo); prototype–test–improve loops; precise 1-second buzzer control in safe-return tasks.
Computational Thinking
Break precise arrival into 8 ordered steps; conditional key logic; variables (0°–90°) for smooth servo control; logical AND for dual-key boost.
Design Thinking
Design optimal paths and turns; one-key prep (space: arm 80° + bucket ground detect); one-key drop-and-reverse for part placement.
Cultural Understanding
Industry 4.0 smart factory logic; how agriculture, clean energy, and mineral processing modules cooperate in real industry.
Communication & Collaboration
Discuss task strategies by age group; share line-function tips and optimizations; exchange best routes in comprehensive drills.
Critical Thinking & Innovation
Routes differ each time—analyze map features and adapt flexibly rather than memorizing one program; build adaptability and innovation.
Industry-Aligned Scenarios
Smart industry backgrounds—agriculture, clean energy, mining, manufacturing—learn by solving authentic problems.
Zero Hardware Barrier
RoboSim enables build, 3D simulation, and block programming without physical robots—infinite retries for prototype–test–improve loops.
Full "3STC Nine Elements" Coverage
Aligned to 3STC framework—at least three dimensions per lesson, all nine across five lessons—from self-direction to engineering, design, culture, and critical innovation.
STEAM Education
Random maps train adaptability and strategic planning.
