Python – DJI EP

Upper Elementary40 lessons

Course Overview

Python — DJI EP uses the DJI RoboMaster EP as the core kit, blending Python and AI from hardware control to applied intelligence. Starting with EP basics and Python, students progress through chassis motion, gimbal and launcher programming, vision tag tracking, pedestrian detection and follow, color recognition and line following, multi-robot formation and networking—culminating in smart tracking and precision shooting projects. Project-driven "learning by doing" lets students make robots "see clearly, aim accurately, and cooperate"—building full engineering and AI thinking at the intersection of code and hardware.

40 lessons
Self-Directed Learning
Intrinsic motivation—set goals, choose strategies, monitor progress, reflect—shifting learning ownership inward for lifelong habits.
Independent Decision-Making
Gather information, weigh trade-offs, decide, and accept consequences independently—with real feedback each time.
Self-Management
Regulate time, energy, and focus across long tasks—plan → execute → check → adjust.
Engineering Thinking
Complete the path from needs to delivery under real constraints—trade-offs, troubleshooting, iteration.
Computational Thinking
Decompose complexity, abstract essentials, recognize patterns, design processes—structured problem solving.
Design Thinking
Empathize with users, ideate beyond defaults, validate and iterate—human-centered design.
Cultural Understanding
From power mechanics to intelligent robots—how tools extend human ability and relate to society.
Communication & Collaboration
Express clearly, understand others, switch roles flexibly—turn individual effort into team outcomes.
Critical Thinking & Innovation
Transfer methods to new contexts, scrutinize outputs, and find paths beyond the conventional.
Hardware + Software Fusion
Python and robot hardware respond in real time—code gains a physical world answer.
Multi-Robot Coordination
Networking and cooperative tasks—from one robot to orchestrating many—scaling programming from individual to system.
Deepening Cognition
One robot, many AI vision scenarios—perception to recognition to decision, upgrading capability on the same hardware.
Stepped Growth
From basic control to intelligent applications—each step naturally extends the last.
