Self-Directed Learning
"Let children speak first" runs throughout—from exploring the interface and tuning distance, to watching videos and editing commands, to using color cards, lyrics, and notation for creative tasks in an "observe → try → verify → adjust" rhythm.
Independent Decision-Making
Open nodes include naming Daqi at kickoff, choosing sports in the fitness challenge, picking runway outfits and eco materials, and assigning drama roles—each choice shapes the final outcome.
Self-Management
Material management every lesson; drama projects require "assign roles → learn lines → set order → arrange scenes"—from personal to whole-class coordination.
Engineering Thinking
Full loop: build → program → test → compete → optimize. Interlocking structures for tracks, fences, soccer goals, and stages—each build followed immediately by programming and live testing.
Computational Thinking
From move and light commands to trigger events (sensor-driven), then branch + loop in relay and soccer—conditional logic like "start on clap" or "turn when hitting fence." Geometry tasks link interior/exterior angles to parameter tuning.
Design Thinking
Centered on people: runway design from model poses, drama from audience view for order and effects, costumes from eco materials—"understand need → choose materials → make → present and feedback."
Cultural Understanding
Deep integration of sports and arts—soccer origins and roles, basketball scoring, track diversity, solfège notation, drama vs. opera—world sports and stage culture woven into coding class.
Communication & Collaboration
From icebreaker games to charades for sports, pair builds for tracks/fences/goals/runway, to full-class stage and role performance— from individual expression to team synergy.
Critical Thinking & Innovation
Analyzing scoring factors (distance, target size) prompts inquiry; comparing move commands builds evidence-based judgment; from basic coloring to creative panda inversion, template to personal dance, given to self-made costumes—innovation encouraged on technical foundations.
Zero-Barrier Programming Entry
Wonder Workshop Daqi robot as carrier—body-first understanding: act out routes before coding, seamlessly linking abstract commands to embodied experience.
Programming + Building + Sports + Art in One
Not "just coding"—learn programming through sports, runway shows, and drama—fun and useful, learning through play.
Natural Transition from Remote to Code
Remote control first, then automated commands—understanding the shift from human control to program control.
From Learning to Creating
Capstone original play—stage build, costumes, recorded lines, entrance programming—full "zero to performance" project pride.
